Kommentare/ Inhalte: This seminar aims at the discussion of very recent research results at the top venues (e.g., IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy, USENIX Security Symposium, etc.) in IT-Security. The topics will focus on the wide area of security and privacy of IT systems and networks. Goal of the seminar is to get involved with the typical processes of paper writing, Participants will be assigned a research paper each and must write a summary/critical reflection of the papers (8-10 pages in a Latex template that will be provided). Afterwards, participants will have to review two summaries of other participants and will themselves have the chance, to improve their own summaries afterwards. Finally, each participant needs to present his paper and chair the session of another participant, which includes to ask a few technical questions.

The list of the papers will be announced one week before the kick-off meeting. The assignment of papers will happen in the kick-off meeting.
Zusätzliche Hinweise zu Prüfungen: The grading will be based by 50% on the summary and by 50% on the presentation
