STiNE messages are provided in the STiNE portal only. You may forward the messages to your university email adress (firstname.lastname@studium.uni-hamburg.de). To set up the forwarding in your STiNE account click menu item “account” and activate “Forward messages to uni-mail-account?”.

Note: You cannot reply to forwarded Stine messages. This is only possible in the STiNE portal.

If you are enrolled at the University of Hamburg, you will receive a university email address. This is your “surfmail address” (firstname.lastname@studim.uni-hamburg.de). The University of Hamburg will use this email address for correspondence. You can check your inbox via surfmail. More information is available here.

Please note: The University assumes no liability for university mail forwarded to a private address. If your private account is full or if it no longer exists, mails will not be forwarded and you will not be notified. This means you may not receive important information!
