Kommentare/ Inhalte:
The course will consist in a series of small real world industrial problems offered by different supervisors. The students will be divided in groups and asked to solve the problems and present their results.

Lernziel:
The aim is to face the students with real world issues and discuss the interface between the real world industrial problems and applied mathematics.

Vorgehen:
The course will be organized as follows:  

Part one  

Introductory meeting (April 2017) 

Deadline to choose the topic. -The students have to organise themselves in groups and chose a topic.  

Then the students have time to study the chosen topic, prepare a sketch of the presentation, contact the supervisor for questions and clarifications.  

Part two - from June 6 (Tuesday)  to June 9 (Friday)

The supervisors will be have office hours every day to discuss the projects and each group will have a room to meet and work. 
At the end of the week the students will present their projects.
