In dieser Vorlesung erlernen Studierende der Volkswirtschaftslehre das mathematische Hintergrundwissen, welches zum Verständnis grundlegender ökonomischer Zusammenhänge für den weiteren Fortgang des Studiums benötigt wird. Die Bedeutung und Anwendbarkeit dieser Werkzeuge im weiteren Studienverlauf wird durch anwendungsbezogene Beispiele illustriert.

Mathematik für Volkswirtschaftslehre I:


  • Mathematische Grundlagen, Funktionen einer und mehrerer Variablen
  • Grundlagen der Differentialrechnung, Integralrechnung, Univariate Optimierung, Finanzmathematik
  • Komparativ statische Analysen

Lernziel:
Die Studierenden …


  • sind vertraut mit den mathematischen Methoden, die sie zum Verständnis von ökonomischen Zusammenhängen im weiteren Studienablauf benötigen
  • haben einen Überblick über die vermittelten Methoden und können diese anwenden
  • kennen wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Anwendungsbeispiele der vorgestellten mathematischen Methoden
  • können Lösungsskizzen zu den vorgestellten Schlüsselkonzepten reflektieren und entwickeln

Im Einzelnen werden dabei folgende Ziele verfolgt ...

  • Fähigkeit zum problemlösenden Denken
  • Erlernen von mathematischen Grundlagen sowie deren der wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Anwendungsbeispiele
  • Transfer und Vertiefung der vorgestellten Schlüsselkonzepte durch eigenständige Anwendung beim Lösen von Übungsaufgaben

Vorgehen:
- vorlesungsbegleitende Übung auf Grundlage von umfangreichen Aufgabensammlungen
- Vorlesungsfolien werden bereitgestellt
- Aktivierung innerhalb der Vorlesung über Multiple Choice Fragen
- klare Struktur der Vorlesung und enge Anlehnung an Lehrbuch
- schrittweises Lernen der mathematischen Themen
- vertiefendes Selbststudium durch umfangreiche Ressourcen im Internet (mehr als 1150 Aufgaben verfügbar)
- Vorkurs Mathematik (VWL)
