Image processing is an area of computer science, which deals with the development and application of algorithms for the processing and analysis of images. Image processing topics range from image editing (e.g. smoothing, sharpening, automatic segmentation) to complex image analysis (e.g. object and scene detection)
Learning objectives:
Insight into image processing tools and a first understanding of what is possible with image processing methods nowadays.
Dealing with scientific literature, research, creating and holding scientific lectures, and preparing scientific papers.
Didactic concept:
At the beginning, there will be an introduction by the organizer. Afterwards, the seminar topics will be presented in the form of lectures followed by a discussion. A written report is to be made in order to practise creating scientific texts.

Will be announced at the beginning of the seminar.
