In this course, we will cover the basics of developing intelligent application prototypes using recent approaches of AI methods and models. Students are exposed to the collection, curation, and annotation of datasets that could be used to build AI applications. The project will have three stages. In the first phase, we will help students to study and identify application areas where AI methods can be integrated. Once the domain area is specified, the students should deliver a project description and time plan. In the second phase, there will be an active engagement in the conceptualization and designing of the project. The project team will present project progress to assess the project's status. In the final phase, the students are expected more often independently. A well-documented prototypical software artifact will accompany a final project presentation. The project can be accomplished in a group of 3-4 students.
