Course Description:
We communicate with members of other cultures now on a daily basis. However, like an iceberg, most of the real differences lie below the surface. These differences are deep-seated and inform our behaviour, often appearing only after 'crunch' situations, when we revert to our true nature. So what is culture, how can we make our and their values and communication styles more transparent? ??In this fun seminar, including culture photos, critical incidents and a bit of philosophy, we will answer some of the questions you always had as well as some new ones!??The seminar comprises a mid-term assignment and an end of term exam.??Zoom and unicommsy platforms will be used. The zoom link will be emailed to you at least a day before the course starts.
