Comments/contents:
The aim of the course is to provide skills for cultivating constructive and reducing destructive emotional experiences, as well as developing mental balance and interpersonal communication. In addition to these affective and contemplative competences, CEB aims at genuine happiness (eudaemonia), thereby promoting one's own potential and personal development.
After a short introduction, the central elements of CEB, i.e. the four balances, will be presented and jointly developed. In addition to dyadic conversations and group discussions, experience-oriented exercises and guided meditations will complement the session. Solutions to overcoming mental and emotional imbalances are proposed, discussed together and modeled and worked out using real-world case studies.
