Comments/contents: This course will provide an introduction to models of decision making with an emphasis on health economics. The primary purpose of the course is to provide a set of basic tools that will help students to analyze decisions under uncertainty. Rational choice under uncertainty is the most used theory of decision making with widespread applications in economics. We will also look at the shortcomings of the rational choice theory.
