STiNE has been converted to two-factor authentication (2FA). Relating thereto the need for STiNE-iTANs is no longer given. With immediate effect for no action within STiNE an iTAN input is required.

Two-factor authentication

STiNE has been converted to two-factor authentication (2FA).

In the login dialog, a distinction is made between the login with UHH-Login (B-Kennung) [left] and the login of applicants (e-mail address) [right]. The STiNE-iTAN lists previously used will be switched off on 01.04.2025. Until this date, both authentication methods (2FA and iTan) must be used for STiNE. The background to this is the gradual introduction of the 2FA obligation for all B identifiers, which will be completed by 01.04.2025.

Important note on using the apps

Last Friday, we carried out emergency maintenance work on the web portal. This has also affected the Android and iOS apps: they have been unusable since. We are still waiting for new versions from the producer. As soon as a new version becomes available in the app stores, install it and log in again.

For the time being, use the STiNE web portal, where all functions are still available in full.

Important note: the maintenance concerned the mobile apps too. The updated versions will be available in Apple- / Google-Appstore during next week (calendar week 30). Please use the desktop version until the updated apps are available.

Neue Informationen zum Identity-Management-System

Wichtig! Information an alle Benutzerinnen und Benutzer: Setzen Sie ein Master-Passwort!

Die Universität Hamburg führt im IT-Bereich eine zentrale Benutzerverwaltung ein. Diese Benutzerverwaltung wird mittelfristig die unterschiedlichen Kennungen, die gegenwärtig für die Nutzung der IT-Dienste des Regionalen Rechenzentrums notwendig sind, konsolidieren und zu einer einzigen Kennung zusammenführen. Diese Kennung basiert technisch auf der bisherigen STiNE-Kennung und wird zukünftig Benutzer-Kennung genannt.

Im Rahmen dieser technischen Umstellung wurde die Passwort-Verwaltung für STiNE aus dem STiNE-System ausgelagert. Sie findet nun in der Benutzerverwaltung statt. Änderungen des Passworts Ihrer Benutzer-Kennung (ehemals „STiNE-Kennung“) können ab sofort nur noch über folgende Webseite vorgenommen werden: Zur Benutzerverwaltung

Zudem wird ein Master-Passwort eingeführt. Mit dem Master-Passwort können Sie ein neues „normales“ Passwort für Ihre Benutzer-Kennung setzen, z.B. falls Sie das bisher von Ihnen genutzte Passwort vergessen haben oder Dritte davon Kenntnis erhalten haben. Das Master-Passwort ersetzt den bisherigen „Kennwort vergessen“-Mechanismus zum Setzen eines neuen Passworts.

Deshalb möchten wir Sie bitten, sich umgehend in die Benutzerverwaltung einzuloggen und sich dort ein Master-Passwort zu setzen. Versäumen Sie dies, können Sie im Fall, dass Sie Ihr Passwort vergessen, nur durch persönliche Vorsprache im STiNE-Support ein Neues erhalten. Beim ersten Login in die Benutzerverwaltung müssen Sie aus technischen Gründen das Passwort Ihrer Benutzer-Kennung ändern. Anders als früher benötigen Sie dafür keine ITAN mehr. Diese benötigen Sie aber weiterhin für andere Aktionen, wie z.B. das Anmelden zu Prüfungen.

Das Passwort Ihrer UHH-Kennung, die Sie zum Zugriff auf Ihr universitäres E-Mailkonto und das WLAN benötigen, bleibt unverändert gültig.

Falls Sie zu diesem Vorgang Fragen haben, wenden Sie sich bitte mit dem Support-Formular an den STiNE- Support. Sie finden es nach dem Login in STiNE unter dem Menüpunkt Kontakt. Wählen Sie bei der Option „Art der Meldung“ bitte „Benutzerverwaltung“.

Aufgrund der dringenden Wartung einer zentralen Netzwerkkomponente am Mittwoch, den 29.05.2013 wird STiNE von 17 Uhr bis maximal 19 Uhr nicht erreichbar sein. Diese Wartung konnte nicht parallel zum STiNE-Update am 22.05. vorgenommen werden.

Webseite "Info-STiNE" wurde aufgelöst

Pünktlich zu Beginn des Sommersemesters 2013 haben wir die Inhalte von Info-STiNE bewertet, überarbeitet und in das STiNE-Webportal integriert.

Als sich die Universität Hamburg für das integrierte Campus Management System entschied, entstand parallel zum Projekt eine Informationsseite die unter anderem FAQ, die Anmeldephasen und Neuigkeiten enthielt. Diese finden Sie nun auf diesen Seiten. In den nächsten Tagen wird eine Weiterleitung eingerichtet. Bis dahin wird Info-STiNE noch erreichbar sein.
